Vegetables and Grass Fed Beef from

Blessing Falls Farm - September 2013

Michael, Emily, and Lily

After a family vacation earlier this month, fall planting and preparation has resumed at the farm.  We're still harvesting summer crops while waiting for the fall varieties to mature.  Eggplant, Okra, Peppers, and Black Eyed Peas are still in abundance and available at the Saturday Market in Elgin.  We're also starting to harvest some varieties of winter squash, including several heirloom types.

During the last few weeks our family has been enjoying the beef from our grass fed steer.  The quality has met and surpassed our expectations and we are excited to begin selling this beef.  See all the details in the article featured below.

Finally, we can now take your credit card at the market.  So if you're caught short of cash, don't let that keep you away from the market.  Several other vendors are now taking credit cards.

Visit us Saturdays 9:00-1:00 at the Farmers Market in downtown Elgin.
