Natural Produce and Grass Fed Beef from

Blessing Falls Farm - October 2013

Michael, Emily, and Lily

In the last several weeks we completed preparations for the 2014 garden expansion.  If you've followed our Facebook page, you've seen the progress with stump removal, tilling, and soil amending.  We got the cover crop sowed and tilled in just before the recent rains and it's now up and growing nicely.  See more photos in the October Garden article linked below.

The garden expansion gives us about 3 times the space we've had this year.  With the added space and replenishing rains we've received so far this fall, we look forward to an abundant 2014!

In our current garden, we're planting onions, garlic, and all sorts of leafy greens we hope to harvest during the winter and early spring.  We're currently harvesting late summer crops of eggplant, okra, squash and peppers.  We'll have our vegetables and grass fed beef for sale each week at the market. With weekly specials on the beef throughout the fall season, we hope to see you soon!

Visit us Saturdays 9:00-1:00 at the Farmers Market in downtown Elgin.
