Happy New Year!

The families at Blessing Falls Farm wish you a joyous and healthy 2014

Michael, Emily, and Lily

We hope you've enjoyed great celebrations with family and friends this holiday season.  We're excited for 2014 as we prepare for another year of farming and raising livestock.

Seed catalogs and planting charts are big at the farm this time of year. Very soon we'll start our first seedlings in the greenhouse.  Our planned spring/summer garden is over twice as big as last years. We're currently harvesting from fall plantings.  These should provide a weekly supply of greens until spring plantings are ripe for harvest.

We've recently added baked goods to our weekly market products and are expanding these as well.  Look for Emily's famous cinnamon rolls this week at the market.

We still have a good supply of 100% all natural grass fed beef and look forward to harvesting at least two more this year.  A new venture planned for the year will be raising heritage breed turkeys. We'll start these in the spring so they'll be ready for the 2014 holiday seasons.
