Our CSA for 2016 is now open for members. We've already been at work for weeks, preparing the soil and tending a greenhouse full of seedlings. We're offering our best discount now for those who can sign up early, since we need funds early for fertilizer, irrigation equipment, tools, seed, and so on. CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture" and our community of members who support us now are the foundation of the bounty every member will enjoy all year. With deer proof fences and soil enriched with compost, we're looking forward to an abundant all natural, pesticide free, non-GMO, organically grown harvest. We've reconfigured the main garden layout to make irrigation more effective and to provide better access for visitors. Beneficial winter rains should provide a good moisture base for spring and summer.
The program details are very similar to previous years. Home delivery was very popular with many members and we're pleased to offer delivery again in 2016 - with an expansion to include Killeen. We're keeping prices the same - no increase in share cost this year.. We'll have 3 seasons of spring/summer/fall, similar delivery areas, and grass fed beef and pasture-raised eggs are again available to add to your weekly produce order. Sign-up and payment work the same as before. If you joined us last year, not much has changed. If you are new to the program, we trust you'll find it easy and convenient and the farmers and delivery folks friendly and helpful.
