$250 deposit will reserve your half calf with the balance due when it’s ready for processing. These calves are scheduled for processing in June or September 2024. Total beef cost is $6.75 per pound based on hanging weight. You’ll pay the butcher their processing fees, typically $180-$220 for your half calf depending on the weight and your processing choices (tenderization, vacuum vs. paper packaging, etc.). You can choose their main shop in Westphalia TX (15 miles east of Temple) or at their retail meat market in Hutto. They charge an added $25 convenience fee to move your beef to Hutto. Packaged beef is ready for pickup about 3 weeks after processing begins.
If you want a whole calf, just add 2 halves to your cart (if 2 or more halves are in stock).
